Amway Violates India Statutes While Representing Their 'Closed Market Swindle' as 'Free Enterprise'

India is truly a remarkable country. Possibly readers might not realize that India is the largest democracy in the world, having a diverse population which is only second to China in total number. India boasts the fastest growing economy in the world for some years running. Also India is home of the hospitals of the world, possessing one the most efficient health care systems available anywhere. If all of this wasn't incredible enough, India is home to the largest motion picture industry anywhere, producing more movies and features than even Hollywood USA.

A fellow of India, Shyam Sundar, a retired journalist, has taken a stand to warn his fellow citizens about the menace that Amway and others MLM frauds represent. Shyam describes Amway's purposeful violation of Indian law to those citizens wise enough to hear his message. Amway in a recent press release is seeking to have their direct marketing swindle 'regulated' and therefore 'legitimized' in India.

Pride, hard work and the 'themes of social justice' have made India one of the grandest of recent world success stories, all balanced by their historical struggles and the wisdom of the past personafied in Mahatma Gandhi. Indeed, the best legal minds of India, the High Justices have held in a 2-1 majority opinion that Amway violates India's laws against money circulating 'prize chit' schemes. Shyam points out that it is crucial that Amway advertisement be strictly forbidden in India as it promotes a violation of India law, the bedrock of India's democratic republc.
Promoting crime is in and of itself a crime, and I expect that the proposed ban in India should be imposed, all in compliance with Republic of India statue.

Shyam Sundar has in the past revealed to a world wide audience, the white underbelly of 'money circulating' schemes; more commonly referred to as 'pyramid schemes' in the United States. Amway, permitted to operate their carefully disguised and conceived systematic swindle as a 'legitimate' business in the United States for what they themselves represent to be 'fifty years'. The Utopian State of Amway, a labyrinth of independent corporate structures, now operate a world class' racketeering operation. Only in recent times have the nature of cults been revealed, described and somewhat understood. The white underbelly of corruption is an open secret, much more pernicious than one might at first believe. Amway corruption operating on a scale so vast as to be imaginable!

There is nothing original about Amway, which in many ways is an extension of American Fascism, all carefully disguised as capitalistic free enterprise. The Amway Labyrinth is correctly described as being organized along 'mafia' lines by law professor G. Robert Blakey. Amway, the twenty first century version of the Cosa Nostra, now operating their closed market swindle world wide. Where the Godfather saga seems to end, Amway corruption expands unmolested, except of course by the wisdom of Gandhi's India.

Amway/Quixtar: The Shame of it All!

“Always call it “The Business” in public.

To not divulge the name of 'Quixtar', 'Amway', or 'Amway Global' in public doesn't exclusively apply to the deceptive curiosity invite practice--where people are basically duped into seeing the Amway business proposal; but is routine public procedure designed to shield distributors from the shame of being involved in such a lowly regarded affair—this despite all the current reputation rebuilding efforts that the Ada, Michigan, Alticor executives have embarked upon. Distributors are taught to only use the term “the business” in public to keep their involvement secretive. Distributors are taught to act very cult like indeed by their upline mentors and the never ending training materials they purchase from the tool kingpins.

The Amway name is generally held in low esteem by the general public--for good reason. Recruiters are forced to seek out the naive and vulnerable to sell their scheme on. The 'shame of it all' can only be explained away in a carefully controlled recruitment environment; not inadvertently leaked out in a restaurant or social setting. Most knowledgeable people would avoid attending an Amway recruitment meeting if the name 'Amway' was revealed inadvertently or purposefully upfront (as it should be). Many skeptical people ask the question 'Is this Amway?' and never receive anything more than obfuscation as a reply. Attendance at a Amway recruitment meeting is considered a waste of time by many people. (This is why I have proposed a Do Not Invite Initiative which would work similarly to the national do not call list for telemarketers.)
Seriously, why would anyone want to be involved in an affair that invokes such shame on the part of those distributors currently involved?

Why would someone want to be involved in a situation where it is disguised or denied to employers—a embarrassing situation for many employees. Most importantly, why would anyone want to describe this stinker of an opportunity as a great opportunity when it is absolutely not. To knowingly do this is indeed criminal intent to defraud! Amway is about as welcome as a stinker in a car, and who wants to admit to anything that vile?

Have you recently been tricked into seeing the Amway 'opportunity' fraud? If so, you've found the information necessary to see through the carefully crafted deceptions of 'the business cult'. You do not want to find yourself in the unenviable desperate 'hope and a prayer' situation of having to acquire an incredibly elusive 'downline' who really does not want to be found.
Amway Global is a terminal disease which has a nearly '100% rolling failure rate'.

Striving for success in a scheme isn't anyone's idea of real success. Just the fact that it invokes shame in those desperate enough to engage in its fraud should make any thinking person avoid it like the black plague.

The Death of a Quixtar Salesman. What Can Be Learned From a Modern Day Willy Loman?

There's nothing wrong with traditional capitalism nor with opportunity as it is for people to make what success they want out of their life here in these United States. I am always happy to hear that someone is making a successful go in their own pursuit, whether it be working, operating a equipment rental business, or whatever. Don't be deceived by Quixtar saying "their" business is really "yours." Their business has benefited them handsomely leaving in their wake thousands and thousands of believers who have lost.

What I see happening is that these dream selling con businesses intend to take away what people receive from their legitimate pursuits. These MLM scam businesses take from their distributor's day jobs/business. They promote a dream whereby people send their hard earned money to someone else in exchange for pursuit of a nearly unobtainable dream.

Amway has been in business for nearly half a century and has enriched itself along with a relative handful of top of the pyramid kingpins while leaving nearly all the rest involved having contributed and in the end having lost money and time. They may have their over priced consumables along with a closet full of tapes to market on eBay when it finally all comes to an end, as it usually does with these pyramid schemes.

As bad a risk that the stock market may present, it is by far and away a better potential investment than feeding your green backs down a MLM rat hole whether it be Quixtar, MonaVie, Mary Kay, or any other pyramid scheming operation. It is best to be very very skeptical of an investment in time and money that has such an incredibly bad track record for return.

Propaganda from these MLM tool kingpin weasels and their motivational organizations merely "talk the talk" but do not really "walk the walk"! Their assurances and promises should not be viewed as an absolute guarantee like many people believe them to be! Folks have flushed billions into the coffers of these con men supported pyramid schemes, and many believers have passed from this life having never attained the golden ring on the Amway merry go round to success where distributors endlessly go round and round.

Recently a Quixtar devotee and immediate up line to distributors I know of suddenly died having spent over a decade showing the plan and believing in first Amway and then Quixtar without ever achieving even the first major rung on the Quixtar ladder of success: platinum. Sadly, it became a tearful real life situation reminding me of the Arthur Miller Play "Death of a Salesman" which portrayed the experience of one Willy Loman. May this man's untimely passing serve as a reminder about the deceptions of Quixtar and how truly difficult success in this cult business is to actually achieve.

As an investment, Amway is absolute insanity! You throw money at these tool kingpins (like Orrin Woodward, Greg Duncan, Dexter Yager, and Ron Puryear) and the product company they represent believing in the deceptions of success they weave thereby making you a victim of self deception for which in the end you can only blame yourself. You are being lied to and in the face of what I am telling you, will probably choose to believe their deceptions and not me.

People investing thousands and thousands of dollars from year to year could many times retire early and enjoy the beaches, but in the end find themselves working until retirement after following this Quixtar god and end up blaming themselves for their Quixtar failure instead of the "system" which worked to make others successful, but in the end did not work for them no matter how much they believed and worked it.

For those that manage some degree of stage walking success, will it be worth it to basically get there on the backs of so many other people's loss? Shouldn't this become a moral issue for you and for the present group of motivational leaders who preach the message of greed? You don't want to fall into the category of people that P.T. Barnum described and make yourself victim to these dream weaving liars. Their so called success cult is anything but!

My views come from my heart. Many years from now, you might recall that I said them and wish that you had really listened. What do I have to gain? I am not trying to sell you on anything but the truth put upon my heart to speak. Unlike Orrin and the rest, I am not selling, but giving away freely. Are you going to believe someone who tells you something from the heart or believe someone who tells you something motivated by a different agenda: greed? I may not be around much longer to deliver this true message of hope, so it is critical that you hear it now! My loved is torn by the business cult but other families can avoid a similar situation. I pour my heart out feeling that I've said all that I can say.

Traveling Direct Sellers Contrasted and Compared to the Quixtar Amway Business Cult

I have been doing a little research into a modern day door to door selling industry The Amway worldwide American Scam which masquerades itself as a direct selling company is put to shame by another group of direct selling companies, the traveling sales industry. These other direct selling companies are traveling gypsies, many of which are selling magazine subscriptions and or other household cleaning supplies. These selling direct sellers, like Amway aren't angels as I have found out. For more background information on these traveling direct sellers click here. Seems like there are a few similarities amongst these gypsy-like cultists or traveling sales teams and the Amway cultists. Actually these sales teams are highly successful sellers whereas Amway distributors are not. These traveling sales operations many times operate outside the code of anyones ethics. Misrepresentations are rife, cons are common, and even the worst of human nature reveals itself within. Rapes, robberies, murders, and highway deaths are not uncommon. Minor children are fleeing from strict parents and failed relationships. Felons sometimes join up find a new kind of rolling home and some can not resist carrying on further rapes, murders or other crimes of perversion along the way. These problems are many times over reported in the press, but as I've discovered there are organizations popping up that are highly critical of these traveling door to door operations, although shady, are still legal. The magazines being marketed many times shield themselves from moral repercussion by the use of layers of sub contractors to nearly claim no involvement in the traveling con-child shows these sales carnivals are. These very young sellers are basically trapped by their cult caravan of hucksters whose history extends back long before the days of Oliver Twist fame. Just like in Amway, people are told to just keep holding on and to keep believing in the pot of gold.

There is a very angry group of parents who having lost their children to one of these traveling huckster shows. Victims of one well known traffic accident will never see their loved ones again.

These athletic young direct sellers and are very effective at their craft. It takes a bold bunch of ambition to canvas and effectively sell magazine subscriptions which (like Amway products) are also badly over priced. In this con game, many times where cash has been exchanged, order tickets are torn up and cash pocketed. Here is another reason to be wary of any direct selling company. There lurks dirty little secrets. These folks basically appear, collect, and depending on the transaction, turn in as many of the required amount of transactions. This makes for a profitable situation for the magazine publisher and commissions paid to the kingpins. These kingpins operate the traveling gypsy circus. Now, does anything about this contrast with Quixtar? Anywhere you have a Kingpin you've got a bad situation going on. These systems have a way of making victims of so many people.

Kingpins in the traveling industry basically oversea a subset of baby vultures which travel and supervise the traveling sales industry supposedly "Independent Business Persons" that these con sellers amount to. Does that sound familiar people? If any independent gets caught, then the con man claims to be an independent crook and basically gives the company a similar contractual arrangement that Amway has over its Millions of duped distributor con men.

Distributor sub compact baby vultures act to keep the duped drones of mostly college aged sales crews a near hostage to the sales company. Abandonment becoming a real fear and later on the money that the company "holds on the books". Many of these young people are attracted to the excitement of the traveling the country. What makes these traveling sales crews work is the enthusiasm that the baby vultures must instill in the raw recruits, many of which are recruited by newspaper ads. I liken the experience to that of joining up with the carnival. Except you do not have to haul all the equipment around all the time. There is indeed a merry go round going on though within these near cult like caravans. Poor sellers are routinely abandoned by the baby vulture and the crew picks up a new recruit to take the place of the unproductive youngling that was shoved out of the nest more or less. Another victim on the caravan to hell caravan. Many times drug, alcohol, pills and so forth become the rolling state of affairs with these people looking for a good time.

The traveling sales industry is a legitimate direct sales business. Unlike Quixtar, which if you look at it differently is a also a legitimate direct sales business. You just have to adjust your thinking about who the real customers are. Both of these supposed direct sales businesses make sales to the "Joneses". Amway "independents" make two or three contacts a day if very lucky and driven. The traveling "independents" may see hundreds and many times these magazine subscriptions are a contract, these young adults make many more sales per showing of the deal than the lowly turtle like approach to success that the Amway independents take.

The dollar amount of difference in the success rate of these magazine hucksters leaves the Amway folks far in the dust. These traveling sales crews are true direct selling operations, but here again even they are tainted by scandal, abuse, the fleecing of their own distributors, the constant recruitment and replacement of recruits. The use of "black boarding" by both groups of distributors is incredibly similar in their use of deceit, lies, and false belief development.

Amway distributors use a form of black boarding, they over exaggerate, they distort, they incorrectly describe the success path. They teach things that the company objects to, all in the name of recruiting another victim into the cult. We have two different types of vampires here. One group knocks on your door, while the other may call you on your cell phone. There are kingpin vultures making good use of all the drone sellers and the Ambots.

Now think about it. Aren't people hurt in the process? There are many different types of victims in the American Scam and the traveling gypsies direct near scam. Actually the traveling group is more legal than the come to your house and show you the plan Amway "independents". When the traveling bunch lies, their version of black boarding may include representing oneself as living three blocks over and hoping to get money to attend college. Well, folks, doesn't the Amway IBO also many times represent himself or herself to be something which is totally untrue, you know the fake it until you make it mindset?

I live in such a remote location, it isn't likely that I'll ever see my neighborhood canvased by these traveling direct sellers. Sometimes the direct sellers must apply for a permit to sell, but many times these folks skirt these laws and make the "independent" seller solely responsible for obeying all laws. The Kingpins are insulated and many times leave these mere kids to fend for themselves. Sounds like the type of contractual relationship Quixtar has had with their independents. Haven't they allowed Randy Haugen to be hung out to defend himself. What a bold move by the Amway Dons all supported by the fine print in the contract that is signed with every independent including Haugen.

Amway Global Cult Intervention understands that there are victims in the traveling direct selling business, just as there are victims in the Quixtar AMO's Kingpins are the vultures that feed on all the carrion in each business. Isn't it sad that a company that has a nearly identical criminal structure to Amway is actually a true and legitimate direct selling operation, regardless of how unethical it is. Con men sellers exist in both of these supposed direct selling companies, both of which claim they are legitimate. Actually the roving gypsy bunch is more legitimate than the goodly Amway bunch. These roving direct sellers make retail sales, something few of the crowd in the Ambot Cult can say. Dear Reader, if you are considering one of any number of bad MLM business opportunities, to include these traveling abuse caravans you have a golden opportunity to do the wise thing and turn away. Beware of full time cons or part time cons, they are all after all cons!

Dirty Little Secrets of Their Little Quixtar Cult

Have you ever had an invite from a friend, associate, or a stranger that left you in the lurch wondering just what the invite was all about? Maybe, just out of the blue, an old acquaintance that you have not seen since high school calls you up and invites you to see something that is so important that you absolutely must do it! Your old friend is very vague about just what this "something" is. Even if you become suspicious and ask if it is "Amway?" Your friend might respond and say something like this: "I can't really talk about it over the phone; you will just have to see this for yourself." Your curiosity has been piqued. You most likely have just been exposed to the "curiosity invite", one of the selling tactics of a multi-level marketer. Amway, one of these MLM companies has been operating under the name of Quixtar in the United States since 1999, but do not let the name change to Amway Global fool you, it is still basically the same old Amway operating nearly the same way it has for almost fifty years.

Many people may have noticed the series of commercials being run by Quixtar announcing their name change to Amway Global. They claim to be the number #1 on line retailer of health and beauty products in the US, although most of their sales are to their own distributors who by percentage make very few retail sales to outside customers which has been reported to be less than 5%. (NOW YOU REALLY KNOW!) Their commercials also seek to rehabilitate the Amway name which had fallen into ill repute by fraud and pyramid scheme allegations of the past. They display the two product lines which they are most proud of Nutrilite Health Products and Artistry Cosmetics. During the transition period the company will operate under both names with the Quixtar name to be eventually phased out all together in favor of the new Amway Global.

Quixtar distributors are called "Independent Business Owners" or IBOs for convenience. These IBOs always are part of a system that includes an "up-line" and a "down-line". These IBOs receive a distributor discounts on the products they buy whether they are sold or consumed by the distributor. The idea is that any product that they retail at full price provides them with a profit and they are also encouraged to use the products themselves. Nothing unusable about this. Buy at a discount and sell for full retail is a universally accepted method of making a little extra money in the business, but as I will describe realizing a profit in this business can be very difficult to achieve. The remainder of this article will describe what can be described as their "little Quixtar cult" and their "dirty little secrets".

Much of what I am going to tell you about "the Business Cult" comes from Tex, a disgruntled Quixtar distributor himself and a modern age cyber-space David who takes on the Amway tool kingpin Goliath by revealing how the kingpins operate their tool scam business. These kingpins run a monopoly business selling motivational training materials to include seminar and rally tickets, and this is commonly called the "tool and function" business. Calling these top distributors tool kingpins is mild compared to the "lying, cowardly kingpins" that Tex calls them during his on-line battle to have these corrupt people thrown out of the business he believes could be a restored to what the founding fathers intended. I will now describe how these kingpin sellers of tools operate and the harm they do to distributors like Tex who are struggling to make an enthusiastic go of the business.

The tool kingpins head up what is commonly known as the "motivational organizations" which have an entire "down-line" of IBO distributors. In this down-line there are any number of supposedly successful IBOs holding titles like "diamond, emerald, and platinum" while the tool kingpins hold an exalted title like "Crown" or "Executive-Crown" and so forth. A similar system exists in many other multi-level marketing companies, which I advise readers to be wary of also.

In Quixtar/Amway these kingpin's trappings of wealth serves as the "bait" for starry eyed distributors who believe they can emulate their success and also become wealthy in the business. Visions of money, palatial estates, and luxury automobiles become possible in the success dream that these kingpin distributors inspire in new recruits who want to become like the successful kingpin distributors they see up on stage at quarterly rallies. These kingpins draw Tex's ire because of the harm they do to down-line distributors out of greed to sell their inventory of motivational materials with little regard that distributors turn a profit.

Tex told me about their "Dirty Little Secret". New distributors are led to believe that success in Quixtar comes from the commissions paid by Quixtar for product purchases made by a distributors and the down-line recruits. The dirty little secret is that these kingpin distributors derive most of their wealth from the multi-million dollar tool and function business, not from Amway/Quixtar commissions or bonuses.

Distributors in the Quixtar business spend most of their time trying to recruit new distributors into the business where an annoying invite to see their plan is routine procedure. They are urged on by the teachings of their training materials and their up-line "mentors". IBOs strive to build a down-line business and new recruits are encouraged to buy the tools and function tickets described as the key to becoming a Quixtar success story. This makes the tool kingpins very happy because they profit handsomely. In times past, distributors were told that the tools were sold at or near cost and that success in the business came from Quixtar not from tool sales. The 2004 Dateline expose on Quixtar corruption pulled their dirty rug out from under the Genie and exposed the dirty little secret of their little Quixtar cult. Although Amway/Quixtar has denied these allegations ever since, the truth has been out in the open and Tex believes that he and his fellow IBOs have been and are continuing to be victimized by the "lying, cowardly kingpins".

Tex says the tool kingpins operate a bait and switch operation where their tool sales benefit by high distributor turn over that the kingpins tool system helps bring about. New distributors will buy tools while veteran distributors need not as many and therefore become less profitable in the eyes of the kingpins. New recruits come into the business wanting to achieve some level of success, and then get driven like cattle into the tool kingpin's "money making machine" and find themselves in a losing catch 22 situation. Like "Simple Simons" they will buy the tool kingpin's wares and attend the seminars and rallies until they eventually become discouraged by high loss, unfulfilled expectations, disillusionment with the dream and eventually quit. Many of these ex-distributors put their accumulated books, cds, videos, and magazines up for sale on ebay hoping to at least get pennies back on the dollar. Many times these materials receive no bids, go unsold and remain relatively worthless! The up-line distributor in anguish must now recruit another enthusiastic face to replace the distributor that quit. Remember, his goal is to retain new distributors who will help him become profitable by buying products. An IBO in search of a new distributor is like a man trying to run up a down escalator: two steps up and one step down; one step up and two steps down! His continued efforts hardly benefits him at all while at the same time it produces a pot of gold for the tool kingpin leprechaun.

There are three distinct groups of people in the Amway/Quixtar business, the company owners, the tool kingpins, and the body of every day distributors like Tex. The first two groups benefit and prosper from the business while the last group of distributors do all the recruiting, buy nearly all the products, and also buy all the training materials to include seminar and rally tickets. This group has less time to spend with their family and many suffer social stigma which can include disappointed family members and the alienation of friends. Children are many times handed off to sitters for care so both parents can work the business together, a common Quixtar strategy. Amafights over the business are common. Distributors many times are asked to make incredible sacrifices to stay in the business, which because of its dependence on mind numbing propaganda, up line oversight, and instructions to ignore the negatives, becomes what I describe as "THE BUSINESS CULT".

Tex urges IBOs to take a stance and contact the Federal Trade Commission and make a complaint. He also urges people to write their state and federal representatives about the tool kingpin corruption. Amway founder, Rich Devos, some years ago condemned the very same corruption that is STILL alive and well in Amway today. Tex, the little David, wants the current Pharaoh at Amway to take the Goliath tool kingpins off of the battle field. Failure to vanquish the tool kingpins will force Tex to call for Amway to be shut down as a pyramid scheme and thereby put an end to the pernicious business cult. Most importantly, if you are presented with a Amway business opportunity, please use your own good common sense and do the right thing. Save yourself some aggravation and avoid the corrupt kingpin sellers of deceit!

Amway Global Cult Intervention serves to provide help and solace to those harmed by Amway/Quixtar and as a beacon in the dark for people lost in the grasp of their little Quixtar cult.
