Amway Global Incorporates Fraud to Make Claim to be #1 Online Retailer of Health and Beauty Products

It has been reported that only 3 to 4 percent of Amway's sales are made to persons outside of Amway's 'distributor' networks. So, in other words, 96 to 97 percent of all of Amway's sales are made to the distributors themselves, who in the end sell and 'distribute' next to nothing to non-distributor true 'retail' customers. Therefore, these so called 'distributors' end up being the end 'retail' consumers themselves. These sales--which are contracted online--are not technically made at retail, but at 'distributor' discount; or if you prefer at the 'middleman' price.

Amway promotes a fraud of titanic proportions by claiming to be the '#1 online retailer of health and beauty products,' an incredible lie that even the IBO 'distributors' themselves seem to accept, although they are clearly not 'retail' customers, and they generally only manage to make token sales to actual retail customers.

Amway Global is selling 96 to 97% of their health and beauty products to their own 'supposed' distributors, clearly the middleman in Amway's failed distribution system. Only when any of these middlemen distributors make a sale at the suggested retail price, can these product sales be considered 'retail.'

Isn't Amway Global guilty of false advertising? Shouldn't an investigation be launched into these patently fraudulent claims? Claiming to be the #1 Online retailer in health and beauty is an ironic lie, and in my opinion deserves to have the federal regulators look into this matter.

What is amazing here is that Amway's prosperity dream duped 'defacto slaves' buy all the overpriced, mundane products and then accept being called 'retail' customers by Amway Global in many of their reality inverting online claims to be #1. These folks end up being the end consumer of hugely unsellable products in order to participate in Amway's 'closed market swindle' where they are the only customers of any significance that Amway has to brag about. Indeed, economists might accurately describe Amway products as being sold in a monopoly market. Those familiar with Amway know that IBO/ABO 'distributors' are taught to exclude 'negative' (brick and mortar) products from their homes and only buy through Amway. It has been reported reliably that Amway 'upline' distributors many times audit (inspect the homes of their downline 'distributors) to determine if these guidelines are being strictly followed.

It is this author's belief that Amway's Nutrilite and Artistry brands are not exclusive--unique--products, and can indeed be compared to hundreds of vitamin supplements and makeup products currently sold nationwide through traditional distribution methods. Avon, I believe actually sells more makeup, and as far as vitamin supplements are concerned, Nutrilite is well behind in market share compared to the well known 'One-a-Day' brand (to name just one competitor from amongst hundreds that market vitamin and health supplements).

Obviously the Federal Trade Commission seemingly has no problem with Amway representing their sales to Amway distributors as retail sales. They have done nothing to put a stop to this incredible consumer fraud. Could it be that they believe that all these IBO customers only sign up as distributors to receive the 'distributor' discount?

Allowing Amway to use blatent fraud of this type only serves to permit others to become victimized by Amway's incredible 'closed market swindle,' which is wide scale 'consumer' fraud!

The fact that Amway openly describes their distributor sales force as 'retail' should say it all! The fact that the dupes buying the overpriced mundane makeup and vitamins allow themselves to be called retail customers seems to signify exactly what kind of pyramid scheme Amway is operating. To Amway, all purchases made through their online order system are considered final 'retail' sales, even though those people doing the buying are technically not the retail customers Amway should be boasting about. The Amway products are priced so as to make further retail sales beyond the distributors nearly impossible. It is only Amway's monopolistic 'closed market' which makes these sales possible in the first place. Now you know!

Amway Partner Stores Revealed: More Deception From The Bait and Switch Masters

One selling point Amway recruiters for the Business Cult use to help convince skeptical prospects to join "The Amway Cult" is the Partner Store spiel. You will be lead to believe that by joining Amway Global as a distributor you will enjoy fringe benefits much like a person joining a buying club might. I will not go into a long description to debunk the really bad deal many buying clubs present, but much of the downsides to these Amway partner stores reveal the not so great of a deal these partner stores really represent.

Perceptive has provided the following information and the following narrative on how these Amway partner stores operate from a very informative comment left on this blog in answer to my question to him about how these partner stores work. Perceptive felt that this would be a good subject of a post and I agree.

*******************************************************************
Amway Partner Stores Revealed ... by perceptive
*******************************************************************

QIAC : “ Are you trying to represent that Amway product prices for goods bought from secondary retailers are competitively priced? These partner stores have a Amway price on these goods do they not?”

Perceptive: This is a confusion that a fair number of NON-Amway people have.

Here's the real story:

These 'Partner Stores' have the SAME PRICE for Ambots, as well as regular NON-Ambot folk who go directly to their store/website.

So, Circuit City--which is a 'Partner Store--has the same prices on its website for both groups.

Except.

The Ambots log into the Circuity City website THROUGH THEIR QUIX/AMWAY website. So, the Ambots/Quixbots get a small - VERY VERY SMALL - percentage rebate from Amway. The 'rebate' is NOT comparable to what you would get from buying Amway MANUFACTURED products - average of 25%.

Here's why. Circuit City already has a pretty low profit-margin DICTATED by competition with OTHER retailers. They can't give away a whole bunch of their profit margin back to Amway. BUT. They do know that Ambots/Quixbots, being Ambots/Quixbots will RELIGIOUSLY Buy From Their Own Business irrespective of the cost, so they have got a CAPTIVE MARKET in IBOs. That justifies giving a small percentage back to Amway to get a base of customers - RETARDS who won't do ANY price-comparisons and blindly buy from that site.

It basically becomes a "marginal-cost" question for Circuit City - if your marginal-cost for gaining an additional sale - the small percentage paid back to Amway - is virtually ZERO - it makes sense to pay that marginal-cost to get that sale.

Let's assume CCity has a Net Profit Margin of 8% on it sales. Even if it gives away 1% of that back to Amway, it is getting a WHOLE NEW BLINDLY LOYAL CUSTOMER BASE for virtually free. All they had to do was to reduce their profit margin from 8% to 7%! No additional advertising or any other marketing costs needed!

Think about it -

WITHOUT this arrangement with Amway, these Ambots/Quixbots would NOT be inclined to purchase Circuit City's products - UNLESS - Circuit City offered better value compared to other retailers. Once Amway is on board, however, PRICE IS NO LONGER AN ISSUE FOR AMBOTS/QUIXBOTS!

The Ambot's argument is this - "Look, if you - a, Non-ambot - bought anything from Circuit City it would cost you X Dollars. But me - an Ambot - also pays X Dollars for the same item, but I also get a rebate check back for Y Dollars, so my actual total cost is only X-Y Dollars. Less than your non-Ambot cost of X Dollars."

EXCEPT.

What the Ambot doesn't realize is that the NON-Ambot does NOT restrict his choice of retailer to Circuit City. So He/she is free to check out Best-Buy, Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, Sam's Club and a whole host of other retailers to possibly get a better price for the same item - even AFTER factoring in the Amway Rebate, i.e. Less than X-Y Dollars.

Case in point. Porkchopjim, in trying to make the same point I am making here, made a bet with Tex that he could find the same product cheaper elsewhere, EVEN AFTER TEX FACTORED IN HIS AMWAY REBATE. PCJ looked up a Camera on the Internet and within 30 seconds found a retailer selling it for less - rebate be damned.

Just like in your wife's daughter's case.

You searched on the Internet and found other retailers selling the same laptops for half the price. Did she get a 50% rebate from Amway on that laptop? I'll bet a THOUSAND DOLLARS, no.

And here's one VERY IMPORTANT POINT that retarded Ambots/Quixbots don't pay attention to.

IF – Circuit City's Net Profit Margin is 8% and it gives back 1% rebate to Amway for purchases made by Ambots/Quixbots....

then that 1% rebate paid back by Circuit City to the Amway Corporation, is split up among MULTIPLE AMBOTS upline all the way up to Platinum.

If you are a newbie IBO at the 3% bracket, and you bought a camera form Circuit City, the REBATE you get on your purchase is actually 3% of the 1% of the purchase price. What does that come out to?

A WHOPPING 0.03%!

FRIGGIN 3/100ths of 1%.

What do the COLLECTIVE UPLINE of that hapless newbie IBO get on this purchase? 25% less 3% - of the 1%. i.e. 22% of 1%.

0.22% - About a quarter of 1%.

And depending on the number of people in between that IBO and his upline platinum, that amount is really spread thin between a bunch of people.

What are the odds that a newbie Ambot could actually find a price for the same item at another retailer that is LESS than their Ambot Price, EVEN AFTER FACTORING in the MINISCULE rebate?

Here's the best part.

The THIEVES who own the Amway Corporation, the Devos's and the VanAndels' know this but, it is a good recruitment tool to keep Ambots in, so they use it unashamedly.

....Perceptive - the Quixtar-Amway-Infiltrator
***********************************************************************
***********************************************************************

QIAC: Thank you perceptive for your much appreciated contribution. After some reflection on these partner stores, I believe they possibly do provide the Amway distributor with a very, very small savings over the same product purchased directly through the same partner store, but in my opinion, the initial outlay to sign up to be an Amway distributor (which has to be renewed on a yearly basis) more than offsets any potential savings. This is the same type of situation that makes most buying clubs an equally a bad deal. The up front cost to enjoy savings that may sound promising at first many times are just not there.

I actually fell prey to a buying club proposition some years ago. Actually after my wife and I signed up (in conjunction with a credit card that I had at the time) we were charged in the neighborhood of around $50 to be a member for a year. At that time I had been buying a lot of electronics. To my dismay, nearly every product that I was in the market for I found at substantial savings over the buying club price elsewhere. I just don't know about other people, but I am a firm believer in saving money where I can. There is nothing wrong with frugality. At the end of the year that I was in the club, I never purchased even one item from the them. Again, I have to question my reasoning for even allowing myself to be sweet talked into joining.
Like in any recruitment offer, the promise is made to sound so much better than what the actual circumstance of the deal is. Perceptive points out the reality of the small return one actually receives, and couple this with the limitation of choice and freedom to find a better value elsewhere?

It is not hard to understand how much bang Amway and the recruiter get from the rather deceptive selling point these partner stores in reality are! I might add that many buying clubs have come under increased legal scrutiny in recent years and some have had to shut down and reimburse participants in court ordered settlements. Amway ties their quasi-buying club partner stores to the distributor's “Independent Business Owner” status which makes many a person not fully realize how these partner stores really work or even realize that they are not the wonderful deal they in turn misrepresent them to be to others. Once a person believes Amway's dribble about 100 percent product loyalty, they are set up in typical "mark" fashion to be taken advantage of by Amway which baits them with dreams of riches and switches them to what most people in Amway experience, failure, which the distributor has already been conditioned to blame on himself. Thanks to perceptive: Now I know and NOW YOU KNOW.

Quixtar Cult Guru Greg Duncan Said “Don't Tell Me What Toby From Tacoma Said...Tell Me What Forbes Said?" Okay, I Will!

A very recent Forbes article entitled “Climb To The Top” by Emily Lambert and Klaus Kneale has said something very interesting that Triple Diamond, Gregg Duncan, Guru in the World Wide Dream Builders Cult, has specifically asked his Quixtar distributors to tell him about. If you don't believe me you can hear Greg Duncan's own voice asking his question by CLICKING HERE. Forbes said in the subtitle to their article:

“Pyramid selling schemes are a dime a dozen. Orrin Woodward's organization is one step ahead of them all.”

Readers are encouraged to read what Forbes has said just as Quixtar Diamond kingpin Greg Duncan requested by CLICKING HERE. I guess Forbes called your bluff Greg! The Forbes article pretty much speaks for itself. Orrin Woodward, subject of one of the poll questions in the right panel of this page, is a former Quixtar/Amway tool kingpin like Greg and who switched pyramid schemes and is now selling his “tools for fools” enthusiasm for MonaVie, another pyramid selling scheme like Amway! Orrin Woodward provides an example of exactly how these pyramid selling companies operate. Just the fact that the Forbes article says the “P” word: “pyramid” is a major embarrassment that proponents of the Quixtar business specifically hope that you, the Quixtar prospect, will not see if you are investigating the business opportunity prior to making a decision whether to join or not.

Quixtar kingpin Duncan makes a big deal about Internet search engines being the bathroom wall of society, not to be trusted. He bemoans Tobby from Tacoma, Phil from Philadelphia, and Valerie from Vancouver and is also, by way of extrapolation, saying don't tell me what Quixtar Cult Intervention is saying. He goes on to say “Tell me what Forbes said; tell me what Fortune Magazine said...” Greg asks people to instead tell him what the respected authorities in business are saying about Quixtar. Sorry Greg, maybe what Tobby, Phil, Valerie, and I said are true in light of what Forbes is saying now. Aren't you really the deceptive cult leader here? What have you got to say about the Forbes article now that they too have described AmQuix as a MLM pyramid?

Amway Global Cult Intervention exposes the utter nonsense and fantasy that these merchant's of deception like Greg Duncan and Orrin Woodward present to their followers and to people considering involvement in their scams. If you aren't already involved in one of these scheming pyramids, good, stay that way. If you are involved, that is bad news for you! It isn't too late to save yourself from the con job these liars promote; you can do the intelligent thing and say goodbye to their scam! If there is only one thing you take away from your experience here at Quixtar Cult Intervention, may it be a decision to quit or to turn down the so called opportunity. Your time and money will be better spent following legitimate pursuits, not these dream inspired cults designed to make you lose. Quixtar cults, like the World Wide Dream Builders, destroy families, friendships, marriages, and completely ruin romantic relationships! (Are you listening my beloved One?) It has happened in my life and it can happen in yours as well if you let it. Remember, cults are never a good thing to be involved with.

Have you lost a loved one to one of these cults, or do you know someone considering one of these MLM pyramid schemes like Quixtar? You can forward this article to them by clicking on the envelope icon at the bottom. You don't have to sit idly by and watch these cults work their deceit in the lives of someone you care about; I don't and neither should you. If you have personal questions, you may email me at quixtarisacult@gmail.com.

Note: I must apologize. When I first published this post I had mistakenly attributed the audio to Ron Puryear. Luckily, the changes I've had to make to this post only corrected the mistaken name and actually do not effect the message I wished to convey. Thanks Scott Larsen for bringing this error to my attention.

More Dirty Little Secrets of Their Little Quixtar Cult

The wonderful soap selling neighbors you like to laugh about are really a cult. I've tried to tell everyone but no one would listen to me. Dirty Little Secrets of Their Little Quixtar Cult continues with the Tool Kingpin Story of Woe and Greed and continues with a description of the abuse of the down line cult by the tool scam.

Younglings are the tender carrion that the tool kingpin vultures loves to dine on. They are the most coveted carrion by the turkey buzzard vulture and all their minion in the cult as I've described as the baby vultures.

Big Hat tells me that people are scared of cults. I believe that is true but they also need to be more scared of the Vultures at the heart of the cult. Quixtar Cult Intervention is a scary place for people believing in a cult. Big Hat says I should stay away from cult issues because I will have a cult following. Thank you big hat for the information. Now I know what it is like to be Glen Beck?

I guess you might say that the dirty little secrets of their little Quixtar cult are no longer secrets Big Hat? The tool kingpin, Orrin Woodward, formerly Quixtar (same position) has revealed that the dirty little secrets of their little Quixtar cult are true. I didn't say it here first did I? Oh, maybe I did.

Tool Scammers, who needs them? A commenter on my blog said something that was so true and precise, I want to include it here:

***************************************************

He, and probably you, agree there is a tool scam, but do not:

1. Understand the significance of it

It has cost IBOs sometimes tens of thousands of dollars in expenses for no benefit whatsoever. It has created a tool selling pyramid rather than a product selling pyramid. It convinced IBOs that they could make a profit buying their own products in order to make the PV/BV circles look like they are working. Amway knows this and has moved almost exclusively to marketing products to IBOs - the only consumers of those products. The Amway 'media campaign' is only to protect the name of the company and keep IBOs from jumping ship - it has nothing to do with introducing Amway products to the general population. The AMOs have structured 'training and support' systems so that they are the same as cults. Those people stuck in those AMOs act just like cultists.

***********************************************

Porkchopjim. I think I've already said this, but you say it very well. You aren't telling any dirty little secrets of their cult, but you sum up what is known very well. You shed light onto what most people might not believe to be a cult, but truly is. People have been believing little by little. There is a poll to the left which asks people if the motivational organizations (ran by the KINGPINS) operate the business cult?. I notice that the early results are in and they look good for the MO s cult!

Orrin Woodward is a shoe in for Tool Kingpin in my second poll! Why I ran the poll is to show the stupidity of some people for believing in these people. These Kingpins are vultures. Wake up you sleepy heads. You can do something about it, stop providing carrion to these TOOL SCAM vultures.

The little secret of the cult people living next door is that they are the real victims in this tale of woe. They are the people holding onto the beliefs. They hold the magic beans. These beans they've paid a precious price for but do not sprout a beanstalk to the giant kingpin's riches.

I've been investigating a story where Quixtar parents were charged with child abuse for leaving their children home alone while they were out showing the plan and wining and dining some prospects.

It is amazing some of the sandcastles these other people are building on other pro-Amway web sites. These people cannot be in their right mind. That is another dirty little secret of their little Quixtar cult: They are all insane. Quixtar sucks, Amway sucks, Woodward sucks, MonaVie sucks, Direct Selling Association sucks, the Better Business Bureau sucks, the FTC sucks, the politicians suck; the list could just keep getting longer.

Big Hat is always ready to reveal a few more secrets, so I'll keep listening for the dirtiest littlest tidbits about their Quixtar cult; you never know what may be revealed next.

Amway Global Cult Intervention serves to enlighten people lost in the darkness of the business cult. Bring understanding to a situation where people have labored under self delusion and are now ready to find help in a dire situation. Cults after all aren't a good thing, and being involved in one is definitely not.
