Amway Global Incorporates Fraud to Make Claim to be #1 Online Retailer of Health and Beauty Products

It has been reported that only 3 to 4 percent of Amway's sales are made to persons outside of Amway's 'distributor' networks. So, in other words, 96 to 97 percent of all of Amway's sales are made to the distributors themselves, who in the end sell and 'distribute' next to nothing to non-distributor true 'retail' customers. Therefore, these so called 'distributors' end up being the end 'retail' consumers themselves. These sales--which are contracted online--are not technically made at retail, but at 'distributor' discount; or if you prefer at the 'middleman' price.

Amway promotes a fraud of titanic proportions by claiming to be the '#1 online retailer of health and beauty products,' an incredible lie that even the IBO 'distributors' themselves seem to accept, although they are clearly not 'retail' customers, and they generally only manage to make token sales to actual retail customers.

Amway Global is selling 96 to 97% of their health and beauty products to their own 'supposed' distributors, clearly the middleman in Amway's failed distribution system. Only when any of these middlemen distributors make a sale at the suggested retail price, can these product sales be considered 'retail.'

Isn't Amway Global guilty of false advertising? Shouldn't an investigation be launched into these patently fraudulent claims? Claiming to be the #1 Online retailer in health and beauty is an ironic lie, and in my opinion deserves to have the federal regulators look into this matter.

What is amazing here is that Amway's prosperity dream duped 'defacto slaves' buy all the overpriced, mundane products and then accept being called 'retail' customers by Amway Global in many of their reality inverting online claims to be #1. These folks end up being the end consumer of hugely unsellable products in order to participate in Amway's 'closed market swindle' where they are the only customers of any significance that Amway has to brag about. Indeed, economists might accurately describe Amway products as being sold in a monopoly market. Those familiar with Amway know that IBO/ABO 'distributors' are taught to exclude 'negative' (brick and mortar) products from their homes and only buy through Amway. It has been reported reliably that Amway 'upline' distributors many times audit (inspect the homes of their downline 'distributors) to determine if these guidelines are being strictly followed.

It is this author's belief that Amway's Nutrilite and Artistry brands are not exclusive--unique--products, and can indeed be compared to hundreds of vitamin supplements and makeup products currently sold nationwide through traditional distribution methods. Avon, I believe actually sells more makeup, and as far as vitamin supplements are concerned, Nutrilite is well behind in market share compared to the well known 'One-a-Day' brand (to name just one competitor from amongst hundreds that market vitamin and health supplements).

Obviously the Federal Trade Commission seemingly has no problem with Amway representing their sales to Amway distributors as retail sales. They have done nothing to put a stop to this incredible consumer fraud. Could it be that they believe that all these IBO customers only sign up as distributors to receive the 'distributor' discount?

Allowing Amway to use blatent fraud of this type only serves to permit others to become victimized by Amway's incredible 'closed market swindle,' which is wide scale 'consumer' fraud!

The fact that Amway openly describes their distributor sales force as 'retail' should say it all! The fact that the dupes buying the overpriced mundane makeup and vitamins allow themselves to be called retail customers seems to signify exactly what kind of pyramid scheme Amway is operating. To Amway, all purchases made through their online order system are considered final 'retail' sales, even though those people doing the buying are technically not the retail customers Amway should be boasting about. The Amway products are priced so as to make further retail sales beyond the distributors nearly impossible. It is only Amway's monopolistic 'closed market' which makes these sales possible in the first place. Now you know!

Amway Global/Quixtar Censorship: UnAmerican Way

Again, I have to describe how Amway apologists operate. Robin Luymes, who operates a pro-Amway Blog in the Amway Opportunity Zone, is engaging in a very un-American censorship of free speech. He has taken it upon himself to 'school me' on the use of words which the Amway Propaganda Ministry deems a personal attack on others. I beg to differ. The words in question that Luymes seeks to censor on his Amway paid for blog are:

'cult'
'pyramid'
'kingpins'
'ambots'

The blog administrator seeks to squash anti-Amway comment and free speech on his forum by making the above words basically verboten. He claims to have become calloused to the use of the term 'cult' over the years he has worked for Amway. He claims that the terms 'kingpins' and 'ambots' are disrespectful, and claims he sends letters to news agencies asking them not to use the word 'pyramid' in conjunction with news articles related to Amway Global. I refer readers to these two blog posts by the Amway Propaganda Minister Robin Luymes (or Kia): Click here and here. Be sure to read the strings of comments under these posts. I have responded to some of the personal attacks against me by the likes of one snarly wench Bridgett Barron, the poster child for incivility, who attempts to use the Internet to promote her sad sack of Amway overpriced crappy goods. (At least she tries to sell something—not really a major goal of Amway distributors whose idea of running their business is to only buy, not sell; Doris and Joe Shaw also sought to sell Amway crap as well, but they had a little honesty problem.) Oh, by the way Bridgett, XS drinks do indeed taste like urine.

I just thought that Amway Global Cult Intervention readers might like to know how Amway operates its totalitarian product based pyramid scheme and how it allows the pernicious 'The Business Cult' to prey on its own adherents. David Brear has a great Amway expose up on Quixtar Cult Intervention that you can read by clicking here.

Expert Compares the Current Fiscal Crisis to MLM Pyramid Schemes

Dedication to Amway in the face of an incredible amount of evidence that Amway has taken countless numbers of people to the cleaners throughout their half a century of operation can be understood by examining how a con man rationalizes his activities. I have concluded that people involved in MLM eventually understand the ultimate bad truth about their business and the ones that continue in the business become con men and con women who believe they can succeed the way other common criminals believe they can prosper. They see success in MLM about the same way the shady fellow who puts on a 3-card monte game down on the corner does. People who show these "plans of deception" to their friends and relatives are morally deficient; but yet many of these con men have the nerve to find new recruits sitting in church pews.

Respected MLM expert and public speaker, Robert Fitzpatrick, has described MLM corruption in a similar fashion to my article Amway, Chinway and a Better Way in a posting on his False Profits Blog. Read Mr. Fitzpatrick's comparision of MLM to the current fiscal 911 by clicking HERE.

Go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat a friend; do it in the name of heaven, you'll be justified in the end.

Amway Global Cult Followers Taught To Act Like Unwise Monkeys and Reject “Evil” Truths About Their Amway Opportunity!

The above picture was taken from a scene in the Planet of the Apes movie know as “The Simeon Court.” The “See No Evil, Hear No Evil, and Speak No Evil” was actually done as a gag during the filming of the movie and was left in during the final cut. Another picture of the “Wise Monkeys” has been in the right side bar since I started this blog. It is representative of what Amway Global distributors (IBOs) are taught by their upline and the tool propaganda they expose themselves to on a regular basis.

1. SEE NO EVIL.

Distributors are taught to put blinders on, to not see anything that goes counter to the dream inspired opportunity they have been instructed to believe in by their Amway recruiter. Many people might recall the disreputable Quixtar recruiter Greg Fredericks on secret camera in the 2004 Dateline news expose on Quixtar corruption where he instructs his new recruits (one of which is a Dateline undercover reporter) with the following classic example of what this “see no evil” cult instruction is all about: “So I don't put anything into my head that's going to cause me to be thinking outside my positive role.” The Dateline story goes on to explain that this means “no TV, no reading newspapers” and by way of extrapolation I add: no Internet, and especially no critical blogs like Quixtar Cult Intervention, Pyramid Scheme Alert, or Quixtar The Dream or the Scheme.

2. HEAR NO EVIL.

Distributors are taught to turn a deaf ear to family, friends, co-workers or anyone who upon hearing about Quixtar/Amway say things like “scam, pyramid scheme, rip-off” and similar discouraging opinions. Indeed, distributors are encouraged to shun further contact with people expressing negative opinions of Amway and the opportunity. Tool Kingpin Dexter Yager has told people that the only friends you should keep are other people in the Amway business. Listen to Dexter describing this by clicking here. Obviously if you are no longer friends with the critics of your business you will not be hearing the evil they describe it as representing. Believers are basically taught to forsake all who do not join the business to include family. Isn't this very cult like? Alienate devotees from outside negative influences altogether? These upline weasels are very Jim Jones-like in their desire to isolate you away from criticism of their con job on you.

3. SPEAK NO EVIL.

If there is a Ten Commandments-like law in Amway, it would be that the “Upline is always right” and therefore they do not want to hear anything negative from the Downline. This would be tantamount to treason! Eric Scheibler, former Amway Emerald, in his book Merchants of Deception describes how almost all his questions and problems with the business were blunted by this law whereby he couldn't complain to his Upline. Anyone complaining about not having the money to attend some far off function couldn't communicate this “negative” situation without being severely reprimanded and scolded. Another way of understanding how “Speak No Evil” works is to look at the Amway Glossary of Terms under the word “Edify” which says: “Normally used to describe the act of respecting or "talking good" about another person, this is taken to extremes in the Amway business. Distributors are taught to NEVER be disrespectful or SAY anything bad about their upline, no matter the subject or the distributor's feelings.”

Dear Readers, I must ask you, have you been taught this “wise monkeys” behavior by your upline mentors in their desire to subvert you into their cult kowtowing of tool kingpins (like Ron Puryear, Greg Duncan, and Dexter Yager) and Amway Company con men (like Doug Devos and Steve Van Andel who are listed at position number 3 in the top 5 Scam Artists by the Vue Weekly). The “wise monkeys” are wise because they refuse to listen to evil. Amway cultists have basically made you the monkey by convincing you to believe that the truth of this bad Amway affair is evil and instructing you to “See no evil, speak no evil, talk no evil” about “the business”. You, my friend, have been hoodwinked and made a sucker by these deceptive con men who head up the motivational organizations which has “absorbed” you into their BUSINESS CULT! You can do the right thing and spurn these lying suitors if you are involved with them. If you have been prospected by these merchants of deception, and have come to Amway Global Cult Intervention investigating the opportunity someone is trying to convince you to get involved in, NOW YOU KNOW what kind of people these recruiters are. Do like they used to say in the Taco Bell commercials: Run for the Border! Remember the Monkeys were wise because they refused evil; they did not refuse to SEE, HEAR or SPEAK Evil about Quixtar/Amway!

Amway Global/Quixtar Merchants of Deception Always Bragging Up Their Midgets: Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?

Seems like everyone wants to brag on their own midget. Dear reader, have you ever seen the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" where one of the candidates for governor in this farcical movie has this "little man" midget holding a broom while sweeping the incumbent governor's corruption out of office in a campaign ploy every bit as comical as some of the pandering to voters that is going on in the current presidential election?

It seems like Amway and its proponents try to use each and every situation as a propaganda tool. In effect, they are bragging up their own little midgets. This gets a little strange when they must brag on athletes that lose, woman executives that rank 88th on some Forbes list, and products like XS energy drinks that really don't retail outside of the product pyramid scheme farce of a business they operate. Oh Brother! Where Art Thou?

For instance, if you were to believe the propaganda tool kingpins dish out on their IBOAI blog, XS drinks are a retail success on the open market. Technically, these products are supposedly marketed on the competitive retail market, but in reality they are a monopoly product which do not compete in any meaningful numbers except against the other monopoly products in the Quixtar catalog.

Distributors of Amway products are very much viewed as the primary customers in the Amway business. Take the IBOs out of the retail equation and over 95% of sales volume would disappear immediately. To hear the spin Amway proponents make about this situation, you might think that Amway operates a buying club instead of a retail business.

Amway claims in their most recent TV commercials to help over three million people own and operate their own business. Isn't this spin and hype designed to convince these three million folk that they are involved in a good situation, all the while being involved in what almost always ends up a money losing pursuit when the bottom line is carefully examined? (This is not really encouraged by these merchants of deception who expect these Amway independents to incur loss in order to enrich themselves as well as keeping distributor money going into Amway coffers.

It is my opinion that even if the tool scammers are completely reigned in, the product pyramid side of this bad business model will remain. Things could be done to fix this situation, but this isn't likely either. The MLM business model almost always make product prices too high to market outside of the monopoly these companies like Amway hold over their distributors who are for all intents and purposes the only customers they have! There are too many levels of compensation that must be paid to middlemen in these pyramid compensation schemes, and then there are the millions of dollars that go to pay lawyers to defend themselves from allegations of corruption and racketeering.

Unlike a real business, Amway passes on much of their marketing overhead onto these supposed "independents" which make the pursuit of a real world profit for these consumers nearly impossible. I couldn't imagine being out on the road night after night trying to sell this con job business onto prospects with the cost of fuel being so high, and also where the objective isn't really to retail a single item in the product catalog. The selling of the plan to recruits immediately bring profits to the company and the kingpins who have someone new to market their “tools for fools” but the duped believer doing the recruiting can only hope to receive a very small cut of any volume the newly recruited might make, while the majority of these commissions go to someone else way farther up the middleman chain!

The first law of business is to make a profit, something so very few duped dreamers manage to do in these scam MLM operations. Of course, there are those that do make money, and these few provide the “success stories” that keeps the majority of “independents” believing in the plan which only ends up extracting their money in the end. It is the people who become "CORE" that usually find themselves suckered out of their money the most! A person who gets in and who "quixly" becomes disillusioned and quits is far better off financially than the duped believers who do not and continue to funnel their money to corrupt mafia like kingpins and their soldiers.

Amway Global Cult Intervention offers hope to people who are flushing their cash into this product pyramid scheme and into the coffers of mafia like racketeers selling all the lies, enthusiasm wrapped into a neat little package called the tool and function business; a pyramid scheme within the pyramid scheme. If you are involved in the bad situation I've described in this blog post, you can cut your losses and quit. If you are looking at this business because some one has shown you the plan, you can immediately do the right thing, don't join, and keep the money these folk seek to extract from you where it belongs, in your own bank account.

Quixtar Cult Guru Greg Duncan Said “Don't Tell Me What Toby From Tacoma Said...Tell Me What Forbes Said?" Okay, I Will!

A very recent Forbes article entitled “Climb To The Top” by Emily Lambert and Klaus Kneale has said something very interesting that Triple Diamond, Gregg Duncan, Guru in the World Wide Dream Builders Cult, has specifically asked his Quixtar distributors to tell him about. If you don't believe me you can hear Greg Duncan's own voice asking his question by CLICKING HERE. Forbes said in the subtitle to their article:

“Pyramid selling schemes are a dime a dozen. Orrin Woodward's organization is one step ahead of them all.”

Readers are encouraged to read what Forbes has said just as Quixtar Diamond kingpin Greg Duncan requested by CLICKING HERE. I guess Forbes called your bluff Greg! The Forbes article pretty much speaks for itself. Orrin Woodward, subject of one of the poll questions in the right panel of this page, is a former Quixtar/Amway tool kingpin like Greg and who switched pyramid schemes and is now selling his “tools for fools” enthusiasm for MonaVie, another pyramid selling scheme like Amway! Orrin Woodward provides an example of exactly how these pyramid selling companies operate. Just the fact that the Forbes article says the “P” word: “pyramid” is a major embarrassment that proponents of the Quixtar business specifically hope that you, the Quixtar prospect, will not see if you are investigating the business opportunity prior to making a decision whether to join or not.

Quixtar kingpin Duncan makes a big deal about Internet search engines being the bathroom wall of society, not to be trusted. He bemoans Tobby from Tacoma, Phil from Philadelphia, and Valerie from Vancouver and is also, by way of extrapolation, saying don't tell me what Quixtar Cult Intervention is saying. He goes on to say “Tell me what Forbes said; tell me what Fortune Magazine said...” Greg asks people to instead tell him what the respected authorities in business are saying about Quixtar. Sorry Greg, maybe what Tobby, Phil, Valerie, and I said are true in light of what Forbes is saying now. Aren't you really the deceptive cult leader here? What have you got to say about the Forbes article now that they too have described AmQuix as a MLM pyramid?

Amway Global Cult Intervention exposes the utter nonsense and fantasy that these merchant's of deception like Greg Duncan and Orrin Woodward present to their followers and to people considering involvement in their scams. If you aren't already involved in one of these scheming pyramids, good, stay that way. If you are involved, that is bad news for you! It isn't too late to save yourself from the con job these liars promote; you can do the intelligent thing and say goodbye to their scam! If there is only one thing you take away from your experience here at Quixtar Cult Intervention, may it be a decision to quit or to turn down the so called opportunity. Your time and money will be better spent following legitimate pursuits, not these dream inspired cults designed to make you lose. Quixtar cults, like the World Wide Dream Builders, destroy families, friendships, marriages, and completely ruin romantic relationships! (Are you listening my beloved One?) It has happened in my life and it can happen in yours as well if you let it. Remember, cults are never a good thing to be involved with.

Have you lost a loved one to one of these cults, or do you know someone considering one of these MLM pyramid schemes like Quixtar? You can forward this article to them by clicking on the envelope icon at the bottom. You don't have to sit idly by and watch these cults work their deceit in the lives of someone you care about; I don't and neither should you. If you have personal questions, you may email me at quixtarisacult@gmail.com.

Note: I must apologize. When I first published this post I had mistakenly attributed the audio to Ron Puryear. Luckily, the changes I've had to make to this post only corrected the mistaken name and actually do not effect the message I wished to convey. Thanks Scott Larsen for bringing this error to my attention.
